It is one of the most widely used analytics platforms globally and has become a valuable asset for digital marketers, web analysts, and business owners alike.

If you have recently achieved your Google Analytics certification, adding it to your LinkedIn profile can help showcase your expertise in data analytics and make you stand out in a crowded job market.

It can also increase your visibility to potential employers and clients who are looking for professionals with these skills.

In today’s article, we will guide you through nine easy steps on how to add your Google Analytics Certification to LinkedIn.

You don’t need any technical expertise to follow these steps, and it shouldn’t take you more than a few minutes to complete.

By the end of this article, you will have a fully updated LinkedIn profile that showcases your Google Analytics certification that will help you stand out in the job market.

Google Analytics Explained

Designed by Google to display and analyze viewer stats for all websites, Google Analytics is a free service to use.

For marketers and webmasters alike, Google Analytics is a vital tool that can help users optimize their websites in the hope of increasing their overall rank on Google, resulting in more visitors to their sites.

Using this system is one of the best ways to review and analyze your website’s data regarding the viewers to your site, such as the amount of time they spend on a page, their activities when visiting your site, and/or the time they spend browsing.

It will also show you what pages they decided to close so you can work on certain aspects to improve the quality of your site and keep visitors coming back and browsing for longer.

Perhaps the most important feature associated with Google Analytics is that it can identify a period to pinpoint the data you have in order to better analyze it, as well as other tasks you would like to accomplish as a data analyst.

To earn a Google Analytics certification, however, you must pass the Google Analytics qualification known as the GAIQ Exam.

This exam tests your expertise as a data analyst and includes concerts from basic to advanced levels, such as configuration and administration, planning, attribution and conversion, and much more.

You’ll be pleased to know that the Google Analytics GAIQ exam is completely free to complete and is valid for 12 months from the date you pass it.

The exam is timed at 90 minutes and has a total of 70 questions to complete.

And, to ensure the questions are fair and test your overall analytics knowledge, each question is randomly drawn from a large library. All questions are either multiple-choice or in a true or false format.

Once you start the exam, the timer begins.

This means it is a one-seat exam, so you must complete it in one sitting. You also cannot revisit questions once you have answered them or those that you have left unanswered, so you should answer everyone.

Scoring 80% or more is considered a pass. If you fail, you will have to wait seven days to retake the exam.
