(Please feel free to scroll ahead to any section that jumps out at you if you so wish.)
And without further ado, let’s get straight to it.
What Exactly Is LearnWorlds?
In case you’ve stumbled onto this article without knowing much about LearnWorlds, don’t worry. We’ll kick things off with the basics.
LearnWorlds is basically a cloud-based platform where entrepreneurs can monetize their skills and experience by creating to sell online courses and training programs and providing a platform from which to sell their wares.
It’s a comprehensive platform that does a whole lot more than just simply playing audio over a PowerPoint presentation on an online course. And if you’re wondering what those features may be, please head to the next section…
Main Features
LearnWorlds has some really great features that give it an edge over more basic platforms such as YouTube or even Udemy. Let’s walk you through the highlights…
Business-In-A-Box Solution
LearnWorlds is a platform where you can not only create one or more courses or training programs, but also create a website (without coding), run your private courses, sell your products and services, and better market them, too.
Winning Website And Domain
You will get a stunning website with a sleek, professional look, that is designed to convert visitors to the site to paying customers. And a custom domain.
There are over 400 website templates to choose from, including many industry-specific templates. If you wish, you can include a blog. You can also edit the HTML or CSS code.
Create An iOS And/Or Android App
For an additional fee, you can even use LearnWorlds to create an app that your clients and students can use to follow your program by way of an app on their smartphones or tablet.
What’s more, it can be created in less than an hour!
Built-In Marketing Functionality
LearnWorlds offers such features as dynamic landing pages, 1-click sales funnels, email marketing, promotion op-ups, upsells, buy now and pay later options, and so on.
And this can be further boosted with such app integrations as Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Zapier, Convertkit, Zoom, Hubspot, Zendesk, Activecampaign, and many more.
Your platform is also designed to be SEO-friendly, which is one less thing to worry about.
LearnWords is one of the top All-In-One LMS.
Making creating, selling or marketing online courses easy for all levels.
Offers A Wide Range Of Content Types
On LearnWorlds, you can offer such content as videos (notably, including interactive ones), automatic video transcripts, e-books (including interactive ones), audio, live sessions, quizzes (including time limits and question randomization), certificates, an assessment builder, affiliate program builder, feedback surveys, and more.
What’s more, much of the material can be accessed offline.
Students can even book their one-to-one sessions with you right on the platform, and you can also use the platform to keep a grade book of student scores.
Seamless Transaction Payments
When profit is key, you need your transactions to run smoothly, and LearnWorlds successfully integrates with 8 different payment options
Pricing And Value For Money
One of the great things about LearnWorlds is the 30-day free trial. It gives you the opportunity to try out the platform without having to commit, or even enter your payment details.
That said, the value for money once the trial period is kinda hard to assess. This is because there are 4 different subscription plans to choose from, each with different things to offer.
I won’t comment on precise figures in case they change.
Starter Plan
I would argue that, on the whole, the starter pricing plan is good value for money given what you get for your money…
You get a custom domain, and a site builder with customizable templates, you can create exams and quizzes, drip courses, paid courses, one-to-one sessions, group sessions, a customer support team, and even a few app integrations.
Pro Trainer
The Pro Trainer plan is also available for less than $100 per month. It has everything in the starter plan, plus some nice extras besides, such as unlimited courses, issuing of certificates, pop-ups for sales, subscriptions, and memberships, payment in installments, and premium integrations such as advanced Zapier.
I’m not convinced that the Pro Trainer Plan is good value for money.
Learning Center
This is LearnWorld’s most popular plan. It is significantly more expensive than the previously mentioned plans.
That said, it does have some very good features that are well worth mentioning. There’s an interactive video, auto transcripts and subtitles, Zoom, premium onboarding and support, and most importantly the development of an iOS & Android App for an additional fee.
High Volume And Corporate
The pricing for this, the most comprehensive and premium plan, is not declared on the LearnWorlds website.
This would lead potential users to believe that they don’t want to declare the price range because it’s so expensive, or alternatively they produce bespoke plans, based on each client’s needs.
Value For Money
For a more in-depth discussion of LearnWorld pricing plans, please refer to our article “LearnWorlds Pricing: Everything You Need To Know!”.
On the pricing, I would conclude that the lower value plans are the best value for money, but if you do want to invest in an iOS or Android app, unfortunately, you would have to pay significantly more money.
What People Are Saying About It Elsewhere On The Net
I’m pleased to report that LearnWorlds has garnered considerable praise from reviewers all over the internet. And it gets the most positive reviews from review sites.

And that’s an excellent indicator of what users think of the platform.
More specifically, LearnWorlds has earned a 5-star rating on Elearning Industry, G2, Capterra, and CrozDesk, while earning a 4-star rating on TrustPilot.
All of the biggest LMS platforms tend to get generous user ratings, but that’s because the standards are set so high.
But LearnWorlds frequently gets slightly higher user average ratings than the alternative platforms.
How Does It Compare To Similar Platforms?
LearnWorlds biggest competition comes from Thinkific, followed by Kajabi.
So let’s take a look at how these different platforms compare and contrast with one another…
Truth be told, all platforms can have their pros and cons, but it pays to know what these are before you commit to any one platform, so you know which one best suits your needs, and you know exactly what you’re getting into before you start.
LearnWorlds Vs Thinkific
I would argue that, on the whole, LearnWorlds is generally better value for money than Thinkific…
Thinkific’s Basic, Pro, and Premier plans all cost more money per month than the comparable LearnWorlds plans, and Learnworlds also has a greater number of features than Thinkific.
LearnWorlds has greater functionality than Thinkific, due to all the wonderful features it has to offer, but the downside to this is the cluttered user interface that just isn’t as streamlined or as simple as Thinkific.
If you still can’t decide between these two options, bear in mind that both of them offer a free trial. So, if you have the capacity to do so, you run both free trials at the same time and see which platform you prefer.
LearnWorlds Vs Kajabi
I would argue that, on the whole, LearnWorlds is definitely better value for money than Kajabi. Kajabi’s price plans are more expensive at every level.
But there is a great attraction to the Kajabi platforms for many users, which is the Kajabi smartphone app, where learners can access your courses and download them.
What’s more, this does not come at an additional fee and comes as part of your subscription.
However, the LearnWorlds app is better than the Kajabi one for several reasons. The LearnWorlds one is custom-made and white-labeled, whereas the Kajabi one is not.
And, with the Kajabi app, learners can also view your competitors’ courses.
Incidentally, if you want to learn more about Kajabi, they offer a free trial, too.
LearnWords is one of the top All-In-One LMS.
Making creating, selling or marketing online courses easy for all levels.
Summarizing Of Pros And Cons
Now that we have covered everything, allow me to summarize the pros and cons for you. They are as follows:
Pros
- The Starter Plan is great value for money, and it has all the features you need to get started.
- LearnWorlds offers users the opportunity to create their very own, branded, smartphone app for iOS and Android operating systems!
- LearnWorlds offers an interactive video editor, which is great for learners and for keeping them engaged in the course material.
- LearnWorlds can also offer assessments, quizzes, and course certificates to keep students motivated and engaged.
- LearnWorlds offers your own branding and identity, you can customize the look and feel of your site as you, please.
- LearnWorlds has its very own built-in social network, which gives learners the opportunity to ask any questions that occur or ask for clarification on something.
- This also helps different learners to interact with one another for support. It even enables the creation of study groups. There’s also a handy discussion forum available there as well.
- LearnWorlds integrates with some great well-known apps, including the likes of Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Zapier, Convertkit, Zoom, Hubspot, Zendesk, Activecampaign, and many more.
- LearnWorlds offers over 400 website templates to choose from that are completely customizable, and this includes a great many industry-specific templates so that you have just the right image for your business.
- LearnWorlds allows course creators to add watermarks for both PDFs and videos, to assure copyright protection.
- Learners can download content to view offline.
Cons
- LearnWorlds can be expensive if you were to go for the most popular subscription plan.
- The Learner Center plan, and to a lesser extent, the Pro Trainer plan, can be overkill for beginners and small businesses.
- It’s not the most flexible course-building platform.
- It doesn’t have a built-in CRM. (Please see our article titled “Does LearnWorlds Come With A CRM?”, which also covers what you can do about it.)
- The user interface isn’t the best, it’s kinda detailed, but that’s because of all the functionality it has to offer.
- If you want to take advantage of the bespoke iOS and Android app for your students, not only will you be paying over $200 a month AND pay an additional fee on top of that.
Verdict
I guess that the main points to note about the LearnWorlds platform are that the cheaper plans offer excellent value for money and that the course content features available make the course more engaging for learners (interactive videos, etc.)
A big draw to LearnWorlds for some entrepreneurs may be the ability to create a special smartphone app for iOS and Android users. However, this would come at an extra fee, which is a shame.
In short, LearnWorlds offers the same great service as the other big LMS platforms, but with many great extras, such as the many integrations, and it charges a more reasonable fee than many alternative platforms.
LearnWorlds is unequivocally one of the best learning management platforms out there, if not THE best. But the only way to really know that is for you to try it out for yourself.
If, after reading this review of LearnWorlds, you feel that there is a LearnWorlds plan out there for your particular business, I would recommend that you sign up for their free 30-day trial, because you’d literally have nothing to lose.
But before you do, take the time to think about what exactly it is that you want from your LMS platform and how much money you’re prepared to commit to it every month, and go from there.
