When Will I Be Charged For My Skillshare Membership

When Will I Be Charged For My Skillshare Membership?

Whether you’ve recently decided to enrich your knowledge in a particular subject or you’ve decided to start up a brand new hobby.

Skillshare is one of the very best learning platforms out there to be able to enjoy collaborative learning environments.

Further your knowledge of a particular topic, and, just like the name suggests, pick up new skills.

One of the best things about Skillshare is that it offers its prospective students the chance to enjoy a free trial before they commit to a monthly or annual membership. (If you’re considering Skillshare for your employees, check out our article ‘here‘.)

This provides users with the chance to figure out whether or not the Skillshare platform is ideal for them without having to part ways without any money.

But, when does Skillshare begin charging a fee?

If you are currently asking yourself: “When will I be charged for my Skillshare membership?” then rest assured that you have come to the right place.

In this guide, we are going to be taking a closer look at whether or not you might be charged for your skillshare membership after your trial period has ended.

So, without further ado, just keep on reading to discover more.

What does a Skillshare Membership Include?

Before we jump any further into this guide, we first think that it would be a good idea to briefly go over what Skillshare is, as this will help you to better understand why it’s a paid platform.

During both the free trial as well as when you become a paying member of Skillshare, you will be able to make use of Skillshare’s impressive list of resources.

Let’s take a look at some of the following benefits that you can expect to receive from a Skillshare as a paid member:

  • Unlimited access to classes: One of the biggest benefits that you can get from Skillshare is the ability to explore thousands of video-focused classes at your very fingertips. Over a wide range of different disciplines, you will be completely spoilt for choice when it comes to learning through Skillshare.
  • Immersive learning: Unlike some other e-learning platforms out there, Skillshare offers a truly immersive and hands-on learning experience from the comfort of your very own home. During each class, you will be able to complete your very own project that you will be able to add to your portfolio on the very same day. Impressive or what?
  • Make new friends and work together: Last but not least, you will also be able to attend classes in real-time and become part of a community that spans across the entire globe.

When Will I Be Charged For My Skillshare Membership?

As we are sure you’re well aware by now, Skillshare offers those interested in using their platform the opportunity to enjoy a free trial to help them get a better understanding of whether or not Skillshare is the right option for them or not.

After you have completed the Skillshare free trial, you will then be billed for the monthly subscription.

Keep in mind, you can view details about payment settings within your Skillshare personal page. If you would like to explore this further, you will be able to do so here.

In addition to the above, it is also worth noting that as soon as the trial period ends, Skillshare will automatically go ahead and transition itself into a paid subscription.

At the time of writing this article, Skillshare will automatically charge you an annual fee as soon as the trial period has come to an end.

That being said, if you do not wish to proceed to be a paid member after the trial period has come to an end.

Then you will need to make sure that you have canceled your Skillshare account to prevent any money from being taken out of your account.

This is particularly important to note given the fact that Skillshare (at the time of writing this guide, at least) will automatically roll over a trial subscription into an annual subscription, not a monthly one.

All that being said if you do find that you do not wish to continue with your Skillshare subscription as a paid member.

You can find all the details you’ll need to successfully cancel your membership prior to being charged by clicking this link here.

Alternatively, you can head over to your account settings and find all of the relevant information that you will need to proceed with the cancellation there. If you are still confused, you can read our article ‘How To Cancel Skillshare.’

Important Skillshare Payment Terms to Keep in Mind

As a side note, along with all of the above, you should also keep in mind that Skillshare has some specific terms that you should make sure that you are aware of.

In particular, Skillshare is not currently viable to cancel, refund or manage any purchases that are made directly through the App Store or the Google Play Store.

On the contrary, Skillshare only has the ability to do these things if a purchase has been made directly through its website.

Along with this, it is also important to make sure that you are also aware that if you have subscribed to Skillshare directly through either their IOS or Android app.

Skillshare will be unable to assist with any billings, cancellations, or refunds. In these instances.

If you have any concerns regarding any of these areas, you will need to make sure that you contact the app store for assistance directly.

The Bottom Line

There we have it, you’ve made it to the end. Now that you’ve taken the time to read through all of the above.

We hope that we have been able to help you learn a little more about how Skillshare’s payment subscription works after the free trials have come to an end.

Thank you for taking the time to read through this guide and good luck with your learning journey. Goodbye for now!
