Alternatively you can use a Google account such as Gmail to sign up to Hubspot. This can be a personal email account if you don’t have a company Gmail account.

Multiple Users 

It is possible for multiple users to have access to one account.

However, each user must have their own email address, and each must have their own permissions on the account. 

Each individual user must also submit their own exercises and tests for assessment.

If a practical exercise has been completed by one user then it must also be completed by anyone else who wishes to pass any certification for the course. 

Swapping Certifications From Old Email Address To New Email Address

If you find that after setting up your email account with Hubspot that you need to move your certifications, that is something you can do if you have access to both email addresses. 

This might not always be the case. For example, you may have completed your Hubspot Academy training with a former employer and received all your certifications to your work email account. 

If you subsequently leave that employment you will no longer be able to access the email account and so not be able to transfer your certifications over.

In this situation you can contact Hubspot support for more information. 

For those who have access to both email accounts the process of swapping certifications from the old to new email address is relatively straightforward. 

Transferring Your Certificates To A New Email 

All your certificates including those that are in progress will be transferred to your new email account by following the steps below:

  • Click your account name in your Hubspot account, it’s in the top right hand corner.  Now click Hubspot Academy. 
  • Select the My Team tab and here you will be able to view all the users of the account and their certification statuses. 
  • Find your existing email address and select the Manage Certificates menu. Now click Transfer certificates to a new email address. 
  • A dialog box will appear. Enter the new email address and select Transfer. 
  • Take the opportunity to review the certificates that will be transferred to make sure they are all correct. The select, Yes, transfer.
  • You will be taken to the My Team tab and a message will appear telling you that an email with a link has been sent to your new email address. Click the link to confirm. This will finish the transfer. 
  • Go to your new email inbox and open the email which deals with your transfer of certificates. If it’s not there, check your spam or junk folder. 
  • When you find the email click on Confirm email address. 
  • You will again be sent back to the My Team tab in Hubspot Academy. The certificates will now be shown as associated with your new email address. 

However, the new email address has to be associated with a user in a Hubspot account.

For example if you are using a Solutions Partner account some certifications cannot be transferred to a non-partner account.

As we have seen it is not necessary to have either a company or a work email address in order to sign up for Hubspot Academy. 

The courses that they offer are available to anyone who has a website or a personal email account.

It is also possible for multiple users to have access to one Hubspot account, although each will need their own email address.
