Anna Wintour shares some personal stories about growing up in Paris and London, where she spent most of her life. Her father worked for Le Monde, one of France’s largest newspapers. She later became editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar fashion magazine.
She talks about her early days working as a model, modeling for photographers such as Patrick Demarchelier and Guy Bourdin. These experiences helped shape her understanding of fashion photography.
She credits her mother for teaching her the importance of being stylish. “My mom always dressed beautifully,” she says. “She had a closet full of clothes.”
